PRE-PROPOSAL AND RFP PREPARATION

COVA prides itself on following bid opportunities  in the greater Los Angeles Area. We often come across projects that are looking for multiple trades and services, and are passionate about ensuring local and small companies are afforded the opportunity to compete. Our team provides proposal preparation services so that your company is prepared to compete on any size project. 

CERTIFICATION PREPARATION

Many companies do not realize they are eligible to apply for certifications through local municipalities, such as the City and County of Los Angeles, and State of California. We meet with your team to determine what you are eligible for, and oversee the entire process until your certification is received. EXTERNAL RELATIONS & MEETING PARTICIPATION

Most projects require that someone from your team attend a pre-proposal meeting to learn about the project and/or have a representative speak about your capabilities. We locate opportunities for our clients to participate in construction projects, and can attend the meeting on your behalf to ensure your trade or service is considered. We report back directly to you, and determine next steps together. 

PROJECT COORDINATION SERVICES

STAFF AUGMENTATION 

COVA understands the complexities of any given project. Our team can provide administrative support, project coordination, and scheduling.  We prepare and process meeting minutes, take-offs, RFI’s, Change Orders, and as-needed special projects. 

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM)

COVA has partnered with a professional BIM team, who has the expertise of navigating systems such as Autodesk, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Navisworks and BIM 360. Additionally, our partnership with this vendor provides our clients with the assurance that their project can meet the BIM requirements of any given project. 

SAFETY PLANNING AND COORDINATION

Our team is experienced in meeting the safety requirements of various types of projects. We have set-up new and updated existing IIPP Safety Plans to comply with the clients requirements. 

M/DBE SUPPLIER/VENDOR OUTREACH

We guide and assists Sub/Contractors in meeting small business/diversity requirements for their projects by seeking out certified (i.e. DBE/SBE/MBE) suppliers/vendors through procurement and purchasing.  Additionally, COVA serves as an outreach liaison and updates project buyout plans as needed for its clients..

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & GOVERNMENT LIAISON

Our team acts as a community engagement liaison for our clients through representation at outreach events, local job fairs, as well as local hire and related meetings with stakeholders. COVA manages the interest of multiple stakeholder interests. We are adept at working in diverse communities and building formidable relationships.
